Licensed Optician / Optical Manager
A graduate of NAIT's Optical Sciences & Opticianry program, Ioana completed her board exams in 2024 and is now a licensed optician with 10 years of experience, having started her career manufacturing quality eyewear with a major one-hour retailer. She grew up in the London area and now calls Walkerton home with her husband and dog, Donnie.
Licensed Optician
Jess graduated from Georgian College's Opticianry program with honours in 2011 and completed her board exams in 2012, becoming a licensed optician. She brings 9 years of experience in the optical industry, and grew up in Bruce/Grey County before returning to call Walkerton home with her husband and son.
Optometric Assistant
Jaclyn is an experienced optometric assistant with over 10 years in the optical field, bringing a strong background in patient care, optical services, and a genuine passion for helping others see their best. She grew up in Uxbridge and recently moved to South Bruce, where she enjoys the quieter pace of life, spending time with animals, and a lifelong love of music.

Our newest optometric assistant and pre-tester, Hope is studying for her Medical Office Assistant diploma at Bryan College of Medical Arts and hopes to complete her CCOA certification in 2026. She grew up in Grey County and still calls it home, with a passion for art alongside her new career in eye care.
Optometric Assistant
Jessie graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Biology (Honours, Great Distinction) in 2024 and joined Vine Eye Care that summer. She's currently pursuing her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo, expected to graduate in 2028, and returns to the office each summer between school years.
Growing Our Team
Jess spent four years with us before completing the Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant program, and Andi joined as a job-shadow student before becoming full-time staff on her way to optometry school. Both credit their time at Vine Eye Care with the hands-on experience that shaped their careers.
